Entrance Requirements:
To join the BSc program at the faculty of Nursing the University of
Jordan, the following requirements should be applied (competitive acceptance):
1.
A student with a high school certificate (Jordanian General Secondary
Certificate (Tawjihi))/ Scientific or General Health education stream or
official equivalent.
2.
The minimum GPA of a secondary school certificate for enrollment in the
faculty of Nursing must not be less than 70%.
3.
A student with a foreign certificate (British GCE, American SAT,
International baccalaureate…etc) needs to submit an equivalent to their
certificate issued by the Ministry of Education in Jordan, whether the
certificate is obtained inside Jordan or abroad.
4.
A student with a Community College Diploma/ Nursing (C.C.D) or
equivalent with an average at (C.C.D) must not be less than 68%. If a student
has obtained the (C.C.D) from abroad he/she needs to equalize the diploma from
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan and pass the
admission test placed by Al-Balqa Applied University.
