The College of
Nursing was established at the University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch, in 2019.
Study at the College of Nursing enables a student to obtain a Bachelor of
Science degree in Nursing with a total attendance of 135 credit hours divided
into four academic years. The Bachelor’s curriculum is designed to deliver
educational and related learning outcomes (ILOs), and is based on clear data of
expected outcomes for students. The nursing program has been prepared to align
with the objectives of the international and local nursing council. The
intended learning outcomes (ILOs) of the undergraduate program enable graduates
to practice general nursing and help them make a contribution Positive in
society and profession The courses are offered to students according to a
rationalized study plan that moves from fundamentals to progressively advanced
content This is primarily guided by offering the courses according to a
'Prerequisite Sequence'.
