The establishment of the College of Nursing, University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch, was recently received to keep pace with the progress in the Special Economic Zone, which contributes to strengthening the investment system and climate in it through the presence of a health college that provides the labor market with the required human competencies and provides a radical solution to the problem of higher education that was directed by male and female students in the governorate. The College of Nursing, Aqaba Branch, was established in 2019, when the Bachelor of Nursing degree program was launched. The university is in the process of constructing a college building as soon as possible. The College of Nursing at the University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch, seeks to serve the community and implement specialized educational courses in nursing sciences. In addition, members of a number of the faculty in the college have participated in establishing many nursing colleges in Jordan and some neighboring countries. The College of Nursing at the University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch, continues to adhere to its vision of assuming a leadership role in the fields of nursing education and scientific research, and in providing community services at the national and international levels.
